Well there are definitely a bunch, people could probably make long lists, but you can't really compare it to a platform like pc.
But I doubt that's it, it's more the console consumer mindset, you want something simple and casual/'dudebro' for lack of better description. Just look at the most selling titles for ps4 and xbone, they're basically the lastest CoDs, FIFA/NBA/NHL, and GTA V.

The people who say it's exclusives or go buy a console for certain exclusives are more the type of people who browse and post on /v/ and are certainly not representative of the of the console userbase at large.

Ask the millions of people who own one. Also why does a hunk of plastic anger you so much that you have to make a post about it?

I bought one for Bloodborne and only play when there is an exclusive (sometimes even timed exclusive if I can't wait for pc release)

Multiplayer also doesn't die as quick as pc where if you arent a top 10 game on steam you are playing against the same people over and over (could be a good thing for some).

I also enjoy the different pace playing fps multiplayer games on a controller.
