All those games keep the corpse around so that you have to hide them from enemies

not a triple A game but i played payday 2 with someone and on one map we stayed for an hour or so shooting down endless waves of cops. there were so many corpses his pc lagged when he looked at them and i couldn't see the floor anymore underneath them. a total of 800 corpses or so were chilling around at the end.

you know what, that shit is the perfect example of what not to do.

You either get friendly AI to work. Or you simply drop it.
Any atmosphere that they game could have is fully destroyed by friendly AI running arount in front of you and bumping into enemies (which do not react at all to this)

Vehicle wreckage disappearing too also bothers me but its all necessary to save frames and prevent multiplying framedrop as the round goes on and more vehicles are wrecked and litter the map
