I actually like LR because while people get mad about Ulysses preaching at you, I always viewed it as a guy that's really mentally broken and the game does give you a chance to call him out on his bullshit.

For example, he makes a big deal about the BEAR AND THE BULL and about TWO COURIERS but you can view it as someone under extreme grief trying to make sense of shit that he lost and can't accept that bad shit does happens without any further meaning.

I like Lonesome Road too for those exact reasons. I always choose the dialogue options that makes it sound like Courier 6 isn't even the courier that unknowingly blew up The Divide, and he's too insane to know the difference.

It was a bit touching to me, i thought of Ulysses as the main character of "NV: The Prequel", he has been in the Mojave, the Big MT, the Sierra Madre and in wherever Honest Hearts take place (I think its Utah).

He had many adventures, saved many people, became a really strong individual and his "main story" ended when you came along (Which might not even be true) and basically unintentionally destroyed his whole life, his newfound home. He is like a main character who has been fucked and moved out of the spotlight, so much that he antagonizes you for it.
