It's not really a bad game it is just meh. The game is filled with annoying stealth section (you are fucking Dracula for fuck sake), the modern setting is not that good (the old castle is good though), it doesn't feel like a great adventure just like the first one.

Something that got on my nerves after a while was the fixed camera angles. Made me feel that in some areas I didn't fight just the enemies, but also the bad perspective they chose. I prefer it to be a free camera like in Darksiders. Other than that, I had fun.

Actually good game. Story is solid and engaging. The game play is fun, boss battles are interesting. Music is really good too.
They dropped the ball pretty bad for the second game.

Half of it feels like it uses assets from a different, cancelled game and the art direction takes a massive nosedive due to the art director leaving during production so the scale of a lot of levels is completely fucked.
The plot is also riddled with plotholes and things that don't make any sense.
