You can buy that logitech one all the cool kids have, the one with the perfect sensor, the one with the weights.

KB+M is for work, controllers are for play.

The only reason KB+M is still used is because of poorfags who can't afford a controller.

If you want a wireless mouse get the Logitech M705.

Stay away from gaming mice filled with LEDs like Logitech's G series since they tend to break fast.

It *needs* a mousepad to work. It's a great mouse, but coming from mice that worked on any surface takes getting used to. Got a really nice big plastic Corsair mousepad with it (hard plastic, I hate cloth). Worked perfectly for years now, the DPI button come in handy sometimes too.

The ideal mouse right now is whichever one is lightest weight and uses the PMW3366. The next best option is the WMO which you can overclock to 8khz.

Sounds like faulty hardware which could happen to any company, I had Logitech mouse for 4 years and the buttons never did that. The only problem was that the wire got loose and started making the mouse cut out, and Logitech still sent me a free replacement.

That's how it is for most popular e-sport games. They're all unbalanced and have glaring flaws but they're ignored by the pros because they want to get that money and they're ignored by the wanna-be pros because they don't want to hear it and think everyone else needs to git gud. I don't think people who compete for fun play those games.

Other mice compete by not having a shitty rattling scroll wheel, sensor lenses that stay in fucking place, and a cable that doesn't actively fight against you.

The G703 may have corrected those issues finally, but the G403 was an absolute shitshow in terms of quality control.

See those little clear spots in the sensor assembly?
Those are plastic posts that connect the lens to the rest of the sensor.
Logitech couldn't fasten them properly to save their lives on the G403.

Before you guys jump in here and claim Logitech fixed those problems in later batches; no they didn't.
Months after this supposed fix, I got a latest batch G403 with a lens so loose that it caused cursor jumps at 800dpi out of the box.
The next one I got still had to be opened to correct the issue with the mouse wheel.
Many others reported the same.

The G303 to G403 era was an extreme drop in Logitech's usual solid build quality.
Hopefully they learned their lesson with the G703/G903.
G900 was fine.
>>

>>
>>384779549
There is no such thing as a perfect sensor and Zowie mice have the worst sensor of all current-gen mice. Zowie mice use the Avago 3310 sensor, which is two generations old. Zowie mice also use Chinese Huano switches rated very generously by the manufacturer at 10 million actuations, while Logitech uses Japanese Omrons rated at 50 million actuations.
>>
>>384779670
If that was true then they would ban people to make them buy the game again

I'll call you when it's physically possible to play Q3, there are 2 people ingame currently. I've played thousands of hours more quake than you, I didn't get like this overnight.

Did you know the #1, #2, and #3 Quake duelists all play, or played, Overwatch? And they had AWFUL results, not only in tournaments but in ranked play. Rapha, who is the #1 dude in Quake, hovered at ~3800 SR. The grandmaster threshold is 4000 SR. I'm 4500 SR.

LOL. Grow up, literally any mouse will grant you the same tracking +/- 2-3%. It doesn't matter anyway since brainlets never win in games, despite their superior aim.
>>
>>384778317
The curved edges on the G Pro make its size unacceptable for anyone but babbyhands players.

I can get fantastic aim results with it, but it is just too uncomfortable for prolonged use.
Straight sides would have made it fine.

That and the click tension is just a bit too light to properly rest your fingers on it without fearing accidental clicks.

Why can't something between the G Pro and the G403 exist?
A G900 shell with less bullshit, less weight, and a normal scroll wheel / middle button would be almost perfect, too.
>>
>>384780547
It's almost like the OW meta and gameplay focuses on other factors than core FPS skills, huh! Also, lol @ including a bunch of duelists for a team oriented game.

150 hours with months apart and other things in between. There has been a whole controversy of pros hacking in Overwatch, and Blizzard has banned thousands of hackers from that game. It was even discussed here for some time and there were videos posted. Just be aware that there is no one more pathetic than hackers in video games. You don't affect me, I can just leave, but I'm not the only player who's game you're ruining. You not only ruin the game for the other team, but for your own as well. Also, again
>couple headshots
>every single shot is a headshot in every single webm
You seem to be unable to comprehend things, so I'll stop arguing with you now.

No, I get accused of aimbotting on the daily in the FPS games I play and I know an aimbot when I see one. This guy is just playing with a very heavy flick style, you're just seeing highlight clips of his best flicks, which to the uninformed might appear as a hack, but if you saw him play for 30 minutes you would see how he isn't aimbotting.

I honestly don't think I have to do that to tell that this guy isn't aimbotting. You're just another shitstain incapable of getting good at aiming so you have to call hacks on someone who actually can.

Am I misunderstading something here? 150 hours is pleb noob level

>Blizzard has banned thousands of hackers from that game
uh that's cool, no hackers in this thread though

>every single shot is a headshot in every single webm
You clearly havn't watched them all then

Like go load up CS and the aim_botz map and practice some flick shots. After a while of practice it's pretty easy to get some aim bot looking insta-flicks. Or hell just go spectate a 1v1 server to see some amazing shit. Just please learn to aim before trying to call hax.

How much Blizz paying you

That's actually the mouse that I use OP.

I like it. It was also my first "gaymen" mouse with those side buttons though, so I only got 2 (the 3rd button near the middle mouse is detected by literally no games for some reason, and that's apparently not a glitch but completely normal for every user) so it wouldn't be distracting if I didn't like them.

In hindsight I could've easily gotten a mouse with 4 or more buttons on the side. But it feels nice in my hand and is responsive and shit.

You see Billy, Overwatch is a "First person Shooter" where the players use "aim" to hit targets. This "aim" is often achieved using a mouse.
>>
>>384782872
That "Aim" is often achieved serverside and the games programmed in auto aim
>>
>>384782872
Back in my day, shooters had hitboxes that atleast somewhat fit the actual model
>>
>>384782975
That Warowl video is outdated, they fixed the hitboxes a while ago. But please prove me wrong because I hate Overmeme too and would love some more ammo to use against it

A bunch of technical terms that have no real effect on real life performance? How horrible. Go into any server with practice mode, and use a tracking gun with both mice and you will see that your % is virtually identical. Stop falling for marketing memes.
>>
>>384783785
There are no mice which market using testing data, they all market using worthless DPI caps because consumers (especially esports fans) are braindead and can only understand extremely basic concepts.

DUDE FLICKS LMAO

For the record flick shots are unreliable even for the best players and should only be practiced for situations where the enemy catches you offgaurd, not for every kill. Work on cross hair placement to achieve more consistent results
>>
>>384780134
there's no reason to even be flicking back and forth like this. this is literal autism.

i really like my 10+ year old mouse and this mouse has the same shape, except the sides of my dell mouse are a little more concave. is this zowie mouse good? any other similar designs you can recommend, /v/? i'm also going to buy a few of the same dell mouse i have since they've pretty cheap
>>
I own that mouse and it's pretty decent. I mainly bought it since it feels good in my hand and didn't look like a transformer.
>>
I own a Deathadder Chroma and I swear it double clicks when I try to single click sometimes. I don't know if it's a setting I have fucked up or what but I am debating getting a new mouse. How are Ducky mice? Worth it or should I just get Logitech?
