I used to go overboard with massive CE's but I've toned down on the spending as of late. However I am a sucker for steelbook cases such as the ones for P5 and Nier Auto. I'm considering getting the Odin Sphere storybook edition because it looks lovely but I don't know if you consider that a limited edition.

Used to if they ever went on clearance back when I wasn't working. Like I have Bioshock 2's LE just because it was 10bucks. Now I'll get them if it's a game I'm really looking forward to and want to play on Day 1. Like I have the LE for Nier Automata and the Dark Souls games.

i preordered a limited edition one time in 2001 and wound up arguing with a best buy manager about what my preorder was supposed to be for like half an hour
then i got the standard edition because there were no limited that they got in their store, even though that's what i paid $5 for some stupid limited edition preorder box

never bothered to try again

I bought a lot of them for a while but have started to realize I'll never actually use the anime girl cloth posters and just doubled the cost of a number of games.

Then discussing if something happened to me on an overseas trip with my family made me realize they'd just throw it out and after some soul searching I started buying digital or using Best Buy Gamer's Club to save money. I'm still going to Nep Nep though.
