What would healing potions taste like?
Watermelon
>>384768164
Salty milk and coins.
Bags of sand.
Cherry Coke.
/tg/ decided long ago they taste like cherry cough syrup.
Next.
>>384768164
Cherry.
Mana potions taste like blue Kool aid.
But elixirs taste like cough syrup.
>>384768164
probably not great.
>>384768164
Nothing
The liquid as it enters your body dissolves and activates its magical effect quickly.
I imagine it would taste somewhere between carbonated drinks fizzing and battery acid
>5 captchas
what the fuck I haven't posted in 10 minutes
>>384768164
I would imagine they would taste somewhere between whiskey and nail polish remover

>>384768668
post in 10 minutes you dolt, I'm on multiple boards multiple threads at 4-5 AM. Where else would I be?
I just solved 6 captchas to post this...
>>384768164
Cough syrup. Cheap, unreliable cough syrup. At least, that explains why you can't chug indefinitely in some games; it tastes too awful.
>>384768752
Just press skip until it says verify and then solve that one. Repeat until successful.
>>384769149
not working
surprisingly, incognito worked though
Cum.
Iron. It'd taste like blood.
Mana potions would taste like salty water.
>>384768164
Liberals tears and salt
>>384768164
Herbs.
>>384768752
Just use the V1 Captcha you dolt
>>384768629
What does battery acid taste like?
>>384768164
Benedryl
>>384769856
I imagine it tastes like putting a battery to your tongue, but that's probably completely wrong
>>384769780
how?
Meat. Raw meat. Fresh from the carcass raw meat. Tensed up, warm raw meat ripped straight off the bone with your own teeth, with a rush of hot, tangy blood staining your mouth in gore as an aftertaste
Mana potions would taste like cum drained out of wizards by filthy evil succubi
Painful
>>384769932
If you use 4chan X, it's a checkbox in the main settings tab.
>>384770303
Where's this from?
>>384770303
>Pepsi Fire
>>384770384
Its a final fantasy tech demo.
>>384770303

>>384770767
you'd know all about that
>>384770884
I am going to rape you.
Cordial
>>384768164
alcoholic and bitter, really bad like a tincture
>not mixing dragon semen with ale for that sweet 10x modifier hp potion
ishiggypiggy
>>384771421
Why would ale have alchemical healing properties
>>384770725
I laughed, nice one anon.
>>384771470
Alcohol kills bacteria
>>384771848
Which would be great if you were making an antiseptic potion but you're trying to close open wounds and rejoin bone
>>384768164
HP potions taste like coke, and Mana potions like pepsi
>>384772024
>close open wounds and rejoin bone
That's what the dragon semen is for.
The ale is there to disinfect any bacteria that may have been living in the semen.
>>384772095
So they taste exactly the same?
>>384772095
>get stabbed in the eyes
>need healing potion
>also have mana potion in bag
>take a small sip from each to check which is the healing potion
>both taste the same
fug
>>384772186
Why isn't it sterile in the first place? Is something wrong with the dragon? Did you keep it in an open air container while collecting it?
Get your shit together, man
>>384772303
Why does /v/ obsess over the taste of potions instead of obsessing over the scent of vidya character's underwear?
Health: Incredibly bitter and hard to stomach, goes down easier when honey or other sweetness is added
Mana: Cool and refreshing, like iced tea but not sweet. Easy to chug down, but hard to come by because it's ingredients are pretty rare.
Stamina: Full of energizing herbs and roots, fuckloads of sugar added for that extra kick, will fucking kill you if you drink too much
Red flavor.
>>384768164
I imagine any healing potion with instantaneous effects must taste rather extreme, like drinking a bottle of vinegar, baking soda, and harsh alcohol that fizzes profusely when in contact with organic material. You wouldn't even notice the flavor because of the stinging sensation. A slow acting regenerative potion would have a much more soothing taste although it would be thicker like a syrup.
A mana potion would be the most thin and it would have a thirst quenching feel, like being out in the hot sun all day and getting that cold water; it goes down very quickly and you can feel it course through your entire body leaving you refreshed.
>>384772348
Not that guy but dragon semen is naturally magical, and the bacteria that comes with it is resistant to most forms of purging. You'd know this if you actually took your alchemy classes buddy.
>>384772553
And if you had taken your xenobiology classes you'd know that dragon prostates and urinary tracts don't naturally contain bacteria in the first place. Get your source tested.
>>384773043
You're thinking of the dragon's pre-ejaculatory fluid. A normal healthy dragon's semen always contains natural bacteria unless you purge it correctly (or just use alcohol like that other guy, but it's unreliable if the dragon is unintelligent).
>>384768164
Bitter like tonic mixed with fruit taste so you can chug it.
>>384770303
>Skaky cam
>In a fucking video game
>>384768319
Unfamiliar with the board game autists and their headcannon, but this was my first thought as well. It'd be too syrupy and fake sweet to enjoy drinking... you really have to force yourself to get it down, meaning that healing would always be arduous.
>>384768164
Any game with crafting makes them from herbs so like an herbal water or alcohol depending on the solvent.
>>384768164
cherry cough syrup
Mana potons taste like breast milk, dunno about health potions
Blood. Losing blood from battle? Drink more blood.
>>384768164
Cough syrup that's been left in the sun for months.
That's why your character would rather die than take another drink so quickly after their first.
>>384768164
licorice
>>384768164
Like condensed blood was always my thought
>>384768164
>if made by an alchemist
whatever ingredients were used to make it
>if made by magic
probably no taste, but just gives you a feeling of rejuvenation and wellness when you drink it
