It was like 20+ years ago and i found it out myself, made me pretty proud at the time.

I used noclip/godmode to get through everything post-taxi ride in vtmb

Made a ring that permanently make all other items near weightless on Morrowind and a different ring that allow you to summon a permanent skeleton, both of which was part of the "soul trap glitch". I did it for my brother who was having issues with a Bloodmoon quest dealing with like three Spriggans all at once. I show him how the glitch works and let him have fun. After completing the quest and goofing around as a werewolf he went back to the island to check for things he may had missed (I believe he was getting that easter egg cutscene ring mostly) and the island was full of skeletons who are no longer following him. I asked what would happen if he attacked one so he did and the island of skeletons all aggro on him all at once.

Morrowind is the only game I know where the combination of glitches and amazing spell crafting system could let you play as a legit necromancer without any mods. People can say that it aged like milk but that is like saying your imagination had aged, people often miss the point of it all. One reason why graphics alone often make games nowadays.

The first pokemon game i actually owned was platinum before that i could never afford the game boy games as a kid and i never had a gba, so i just watched the anime,guess it was the right time since that means i got my first pokemon when i was 10, a chimchar that by the end of the game became infernape

Wiped out about a half of orc city in Gothic by luring and fighting orcs one by one. Got through the closed gate by transforming into a bug. Then found out that I wasn't supposed to do that and further into the plot they would let me through.
When doing the orc's axe quest in Gothic 2, instead of getting an axe from empty cave (didn't know that at the time), just lured an orc into the city and watched the guards fighting him.
In Half-Life 2, at one time you must get into a pipe that is too high to reach at first and you should turn a valve to raise the water level. I didn't find the valve, so I built an impressive pyramid of barrels and jumped into the pipe from there. Unfortunatrly, the game didn't reward my uncoinventional thinking and I couldn't get further for some reason.
In Darwinia, APCs are the ultimate cheesing device: while at the beginning of the game you micromanage the squads to kill spiders and shit, after you get APCs, you just deploy them and watch them wreck shit. There is an optional area where you escort some Darwinians to the a another island and you're supposed to fight some enemies in process. But if you do it after you get APCs, you just put the Darwinians in them and head straight to your destination.
Got through the Many in System Shock 2 on pure bullshit, having wasted almost all my ammo on infinite Reavers it throws at you. Don't remember the details, but involved a lot of quickloading.

in gothic 1 you can also just draw a weapon and guards blocking entrances just will go into their "put back your weapon!"-stance, so you can run past them, holster your weapon and they will go back to neutral

what i mean is, they won't start their usual auto conversation piece of "get out" and you can run past them without needing to do a quest to do so

Fast fowared the ps2 clock to beat The End in MGS3.

I wanted to replay Metroid Prime 1 and 2 a few years ago, but had to use Dolphin. Had access to cheats, so I gave myself the Screw Attack early and infinite beam ammo in Echoes.

Screw Attack breaks the earlier platforming sections in half. There are so many places where you can completely bypass a puzzle with near-infinite horizontal jumps.

Infinite beam ammo isn't as bad, but holy shit the Annihilator Beam was NOT balanced around it. The basic shot is rapid fire, homing, high damage, and high ammo cost. Infinite ammo gives you an endless stream of crazy-high damage.

Echoes would have been much better without the ammo system, IMO. The Light and Dark Beams are fine, and the Annihilator still pales in comparison to Prime 1's Plasma Beam.

Half-life has this chapter where your train falls into the water and you need to travel back, you can skip the whole thing by simply jumping from the train beforehand and walking to the exit
