It's pretty good and easy way to introduce kids to a huge evolution in gaming from 8-bit to 16-bit era.

Also, if SNES-mini is similar to NES-mini, it likely will be hacked to allow for a large catalog of games easily accessible by just throwing in the HDMI cable into the TV and going at it.

The base set of games are also a solid line-up.

I use an app called The Tracker By 14U News to get stock alerts. The Walmart pre-order ran out of stock in 20 minutes but my order hasn't been cancelled so far.
