Because capcom has abandoned us I am going to replay Dragon's Dogma again but with restrictions with the goal of forcing me to git gud at the combat
The current plan is to not use any healing items unless I can currently save, so no healing in combat in other words
For items I'm not going to use any "throwing" item like knives or dragon spit or specifically throwblast casue they are just too strong
I'm also not going to using any periapts (or magic rebalancer though I'm not gonna be MA anyway)
My current plan for pawns is to just make a fighter and grab 2 other low level fighters, strip their armor and drag them around so they take their 1/4 of the xp properly so I don't end up hideously overleveled and they still don't contribute much to combat, I kinda feel like this might be unnecessary though, equal level pawns aren't super powerful or anything though they can be handy, I also dont think Anodyne is a unreasonable mid-combat heal as its slow and requires you to stay in a small area but I dunno, it depends on how I feel after trying to drag around dying pawns constantly and only ressing them after combat
Lastly I'm gonna do normal mdoe rather then hard as hard is easier then normal outside of the very start due to the horrifying amount of extra experience and money it offers, similar to my reasons for keeping pawns
All that said what vocation should I use, I know Warrior is the worst but I feel like Fighter is probably more interesting actually to get into the meat of combat more with
