Blue portal is facing viewer, orange is facing down.

As orange comes down, it would begin to exit out itself, yes.

The top of it would come out facing directly at the viewer, also like the image.

But, the sides would grow up and down as it comes through, not left and right. This is because of the way the orange portal or oriented, and is how its going in.

This causes the orange portal to hit the blue portal again as it grows in width coming out of itself, or the blue portal hits against itself as the part coming out is more than the top half remaining. Id have to draw it out to figure that out

It doesn't matter. Assuming that the blue portal is capable of going into the orange portal at all, which is an entirely different discussion. At some point it'll be coming too far out of itself and hit the orange portal, the angle doesn't matter. It'd never be able to make it the entire way through due to simple normal ass math and physics. Because of this boring reality we never even get to discuss the interesting paradox ramifications of it going through itself entirely.

It doesn't matter how you angle it or how you try and tilt it because even if you tilt it in a way so that the blue portal is able to enter the orange portal multiple times, it'll eventually hit into the orange portal or itself. This is because the blue and orange portal are the same exact size because they are the opposite ends of the same coin.

This is only with just the portals not even counting the extra dimensions of a wall, with a wall there it'd hit even sooner. It really doesn't matter how you try and justify it.
