It really does suck dick but I'm finding the map repetition to be less than during the demos. During the splatfest I was playing on the same map like seven times in a row. Now it feels like it switches between the two maps more frequently. But yeah, it's still a retarded idea and gets tiring quickly.

maps should NOT be on rotation.

Also Splat Zones is pretty easy to understand but how is Rainmaker and Tower Defense played?

Tower Defense is when you stand on a tower to make it move from one end of the map to the other. Rainmaker is a mode where someone carries a very powerful gun, but it slows you down so you have to be escorted to the end, where you place it on a pedestal to win.

Because you shouldn't lock maps and full entire game modes. Especially the one you were using to sell your fucking game with behinds 4 hour intervals and rotations.
It's like playing smash and the only two stages you can play right now are the side scrolling mushroom kingdom and fucking ice climbers.
And the current mode is timed Money match. until they switch it all in 4 hours.
