I'm playing it right now, I'd say it's worth it if you find it at 20-25€

I'm almost at the end of the main storyline and so far I'd say the game is more frustrating than outright bad. There are some good ideas here and there, the combat is not as bad as I though and there a lot of end-game content if you are really into it.

However the game shits the bed when it comes to basics like ergonomy and navigation. You can only take one hunt quest at a time which is asanine, forcing you to use fast travel constantly and sit trough you dreadfully long loading screens. The open world is either to small since you can go to one end to another in 5 minutes with the car, or too big when you are on foot and spend 10 minutes walking without anything stopping you.

The story is the biggest offender, this universe had a lot of potential but it is told in such a poor way that you will not care about it, there are literally only three characters in the plot that matter (Noctis, the King and the Big Bad) while the rest is just here to deliver exposition about those dramatic events that you will not experience yourself since the game is only half finished.

The group dynamic of the party, and the whole "going on a camping tour in a fantasy land" is great, but it has nothing to do with Final Fantasy, especially with that sort of plot.
