Vanilla servers won't work in this day and age because everyone knows exactly how vanilla went down, it was basically a cesspit of rogues, warriors, mages, and warlocks. I want it but it could stand to have some QoL changes, and I don't mean balance changes, I mean mostly just interface changes.

There is some potential here too, it could act in tandem with current wow since everything is account bound now, you could go back to the old servers to get mounts and shit that was removed from the game, and if they didn't change the balancing it would still mean something because you would still have to earn it like you did in the past.

But they would have to make it actual vanilla and vanilla stats, not w/e the fuck they did to the game where dps have fucking 13-14k hp at level 55 now, even though dps only had like 4k hp in GOOD gear at 60 back in real vanilla, otherwise the game would be a joke because all the stats are tuned above old vanilla

Basically this all sounds like too much work for blizzard from their perspective, since they are lazy fucks, and unironically ignore what is essentially the biggest non technical issue related to WoW currently
