I was a great fan of DA:O. I tolerated DA:II because I really wanted to see where the overarching story continued in the game that was bound to follow next, I especially wanted to find out what happens to the original Warden, Morrigan, and some other characters.
But having grown a fine nose over the years that can smell shit from a mile away, I avoided Dragon Age: Cisquisition like the plague it apparently was, but I have vacation right now and not much to do, so I was just wondering about /v/'s opinions on the game. Can I play it in such a way that I avoid cringing every minute? Can I diss all the cringworthy companions? (Which I surprisingly hear companion Mr. Gay is not counted amongst, and is in fact a very well written character).
Will I, a DA:O fan, be satisfied storywise, ignoring the cringe, after having played this game, or is it simply not worth it?
Thanks very much.

Worth. Always on sale, still really fun. Don't trust the opinions of others if you haven't formed an opinion yourself.
Holy shit stop giving a shit about what people on a chinese doodling board think and just form your own opinions

Couldn't get through it, personally. I put a decent amount of hours in but the gameplay got boring and i dropped it. Tried going back but didn't last very long.
Could be different for you, though, so maybe it's worth a try.

Well the reason I ask is because I don't want to give money to shit companies. And BioWare really has done a bad job over the years, with Mass Effect 3, Andromeda, and apparently Cisquisition aswell. But I just might buy Dragon Age Inquisition if it's okay because I like the universe.
