I actually played ds2 longer than ds3. Pvp in ds2 was great. It also made invaders to be good at the game. When I invaded in ds2 I played way smarter.

DaS2fags are the only souls community who need to validate their opinion all the time.

I unironically, and honestly think ds3 is the worst in the series. at least ds2 had proper combat even with all the shit it fucked up, Like, adp, and soul memory were bad attempts to fix a problem, they fucked up horribly, but they tried to fix a legit problem the games had. When playing through ds2, it felt like someone tried and failed. DS3 felt like someone gave up, and said fuck it why bother.
DS2 is trash though, don't get me wrong, but it fucking tried at least.

I honestly didn't like BB that much, the shitty small weapon variety, mixed with rapid fire combat, and endless attack spam from enemies just didn't feel like a FROMsoft game,And it just doesn't work that well in one.

Yeah, you could finally repair the ring of life protection for almost nothing and they also thankfully placed the one, who can do that, right in the main hub, where no one will kill you. And thank god, you can now warp right from the start to that main hub too.

aside from bosses in BB, you can interrupt any enemy to stop them from attacking so it really isn't an issue

Yeah, it's not that bad with normal enemies, but jesus fucking christ the bosses. they never.stop.attacking. every single one of them. When I first started I assumed that was going to be the gimmick for the beasts, because hey, blood crazed monsters, super aggressive right? then fucking everything was like that.

it's actually been a few years since i played any of the games in general.
went back and loaded up a NG+ base level character on dark 1, got to the tomb of the giants and i forgot how scary the game could be.
i forgot to dig out a lantern from my box, so i had to take everything slow and careful and would freak out when a giant skeleton would just run out of the darkness
