Her inclusion didn't make much sense (or star fox adventures overall), characterization was all over the place yet went nowhere (her interactions with fox in assault were ok though), became a huge cunt with ugly-ass outfits in command (could have been a bit more excusable if they went for one of the "ok, back to the status quo, more-or-less" endings).

When Rare made Donkey Kong country the tricks they did to make the backgrounds look the way they did blew everyone away. Miyamoto was instructed to do the same thing they did. He got so butthurt he made a cheap looking Yoshi game instead and gamers were stupid for liking Donkey Kong Country. He's had a grudge with them ever since. When Rare announced their Dinsaur Planet game was going to be their magnum opus Miyamoto arranged for Nintendo to fuck them at every turn, including forcing them to throw away their original characters and use Starfox characters instead. Rare responded by rushing the game out the door missing over a third of it's intended content and sold themselves to Microsoft thinking that'd fix their problems. Boy did that shit not pan out.

It's easier to blame Krystal for the fact that Adventures was not a Starfox game then it is to admit that Starfox had no business being in her game at all. Unfortunetly because it was Miyamoto's idea and Miyamoto is incapable of being wrong Krystal get the blame instead. Cause that makes sense, it's the fault of a fictional character that the developers made a cheap rushed action adventure game the sequel to Starfox 64. Cutting Krystal wouldn't suddenly make Adventures a space shooter. People get mad at Adventures for not being a Starfox game when really it was Starfox who invaded that game to begin with.
