yes that what buddies are for (D-horse,D-Dog, quiet) every buddy is useful in it's on way for you to complete missions. the bond get higher the mlre you take a buddy to a mission and how well it goes for them (if you blow up,shoot or if they get downed your bond will decrease) the higher the bond the more comands and weapons/suits you will unlock for them. quiet will mark enemies and kill them if you give the order as well as put them to sleep of you give her a tranquilizer rifle.
