Even worse outside of White Wind all his spells are pretty shit. They hardly ever do more than just regular attacks. Blue Mage is meant to be this weird class that can do insane fun things. So stopping that really makes no sense to me.

Plus he is always behind in abilities with whomever path you put him in (except Rikku but all she is really good for is stealing which is at the start of the path). So he is honestly a shit character all around.

Honestly having each character have a unique ability like Yuna having summon would go a long way to making all the characters useful.
