I could see it. Not a fan of either character desu, they never seem believable in a role other than punching god in the face. I can picture Flynn talking to his teammates or being sad when issabeau dies but I can't picture nanashi saying any of his lines in the game.

Doi did touch up a few of the SMT IV designs for Apoc, but he didn't do anything with the 4 angels for some reason.
I feel that a lot of the stuff in IV are good designs, but they just need to be touched up/redrawn. Medusa is a good example of this

Mostly because the archangels don't do anything in IV since they already fuse. I like most of Doi's design in general but he has only done 1 game to judge his ability

Don't hoard your formas since if you don't use em they'll grow obsolete pretty quickly. I'd only keep around forma that have really good skills like concentrate/charge.
Selling the items you get from enemy search minibosses is how you get a lot of money. They can be difficult to fight early game, though.

The Manikin. You can't fuse the Archangels if you don't kill them. Also, grinding up to the point where you accidentally one shot Chiaki with a crit from full buffs and a charged physical move is nice. IIRC you can temporarily skip the fight and buy the Magatama that gives Freikugal before you go fight her.

Who cares? It's not like the partners made much of a difference in battle anyways, you barely had them in 4 and the game is easy enough for you to use whoever you want if it isn't your first SMT game and you know how to fuse properly. After I got her the only times I substituted bothered her was for Hallelujah in the Lucifer and Dagda fights since they had that annoying move that sends my demons out of the battle.
