Isn't that a bit long?

For a story to cover yes, but for a setting for a game it is fine.

That's why the game would have its own plot. Why are you troubled by this? When OP said Aztecs did you think he meant a game that covers the entire history of Aztec civilization?
>>
>>384676170
Yeah
>>
>>384676183
But then that game would be even longer. Why didn't you say anything about that? What the hell man?
>>

Lots happened in the history of the Aztecs

Stuff happened. Shakespeare wrote half a dozen plays set during it.

Roman Empire in general. For the size, greatness and length of it being in existance it dose not get enought good games. There are some but its pretty rare.
>>
>>384676314
Shakespeare's plays weren't really set during that period, they were mostly historical

Unironically India

There are no good games set there, but it has some fascinating history and fantasy. Hell, even make a game about crazy Hindu gods.

About the closest was Prince of Persia, and that was more Arab than Indian.

The Bronze Age Collapse, specifically with this:

This is the final testament of Matriarch Eupraxia, Legates-Faithful, Servant of MEKHANE.

I am not a warrior. But all warriors are dead. Breaking themselves upon the Enemy's host.

The Enemy has set their plan into motion. The Sorcerer King surrounds himself with corpses. To fight, is to [grow/increase in number] his legions.

Egypt retreats from [the world/us/contact with us].

The Hittites have fallen into [chaos/strife].

The Conspirators of [Crete]6 have sacrificed their own.

The Aegean7 has fallen into barbarism.

[The city of a thousand pillars]8 is forever lost. Has always been lost.

Even the Daeva grow desperate with the enemy at their border.

The center collapses - kingdoms crumble. The damage is done.

The light of reason [flickers/wanes].

But MEKHANE sacrificed herself so that we might be free.

We refuse to return to that darkness. We would rather die.

But the siege at Gyaros was won. We must strike while the metal is hot.

And thus, we march for Kythera - at the end of all things.

We have crossed the wine-dark sea.

We have seen villages ravaged by the Red Death. We have seen the dead, the dying, and the deathless. We cast the accursed to holy flame.

We enter his desolate domain.

And in our left hand, we carry our ANSWER.

We cannot undo what has been done - but we can delay the Sarkic Dawn.

In the myth recorded on cuneiform tablets, the deity Enki (later Ea) believed correctly that Apsu was planning to murder the younger deities, upset with the chaos they created, and so captured him and held him prisoner beneath his temple the E-Abzu. This angered Kingu, their son, who reported the event to Tiamat, whereupon she fashioned eleven monsters to battle the deities in order to avenge Apsu's death.

These were her own offspring: Bašmu (“Venomous Snake”), Ušumgallu (“Great Dragon”), Mušmaḫḫū (“Exalted Serpent”), Mušḫuššu (“Furious Snake”), Laḫmu (the “Hairy One”), Ugallu (the “Big Weather-Beast”), Uridimmu (“Mad Lion”), Girtablullû (“Scorpion-Man"), Umū dabrūtu (“Violent Storms"), Kulullû (“Fish-Man") and Kusarikku (“Bull-Man”).

no they weren't their where specific classes meant to fight each other. for example Hoplomachus had throw his spear before close combat as the spear gave such a reach advantage they were paired against Murmillones or a Thracian.

it doesn't have to 100% historically accurate but if your getting mad at people who enjoy history telling you what actually happened then maybe historys not your thing
