Game with the coziest hometown?

Probably Crusader of Centy's for me. All the NPCs, the music, the little details like furniture being moved around, it's maximum comfy

i know its basic, but i remember spending so much time walking around onett in earthbound. it was so cute and cozy, could talk to any npc, and it'd make me chuckle a bit. good music. really great stuff
dark souls 2
GBA had such nice spritework sometimes. Minish Cap stands out too.
Chrono Trigger BAYBEE!

No need to spoiler.
It was always a big relief to come back and take a breather.

Someday I will try out 4-6.

Why don't JRPGs use puzzles in dungeons anymore?
>>384673753
Not just JRPGs, nearly all non-puzzle games have stopped doing puzzles. I think devs have gotten too afraid of adding content that even a small percentage of players might find frustrating.

Prontera.

I don't know, but that needs to change. SMTIV's Final Fantasy-tier dungeons were its biggest flaw for me.

IV didn't even really have dungeons for the most part. There's only really two you can consider dungeons, the ones before the final bosses in the Chaos and Law route. The rest are all just locations. Apoc was a lot better about that, but then they fucking ruined everything by throwing one of the worst designed dungeons I've ever seen in a video game in right at the very end.
