How out of touch with reality do you have to be to think it's even remotely that simple or that such a move wouldn't bring a shitshow of unprecedented size upon Valve and Steam? The difference between some ultra-niche softcore anime games and legit porn is the size of the Grand Canyon in this particular context.

Don't forget that Valve is still a major corporation and many different entities and companies are closely connected to Steam as a service, most of whom would probably withdraw from it in order to not have their brands be connected with a pornography-providing service. It'd be a completely nonsensical and likely suicidal move in exchange for extremely little gain as the vast majority of people aren't willing to buy porn and even fewer would be willing to publicly display they're consuming it.
