I actually found it hard to get attached to 2B, not sure why. I was less sad that she died and more sad about the way 9S reacted to it. The entire ending sequence made me forget 2B even existed really, there was so much going on that involved 9S and A2 that the only time I was reminded about 2B was when 9S murdered a room full of her. It sort of feels like 2B's entire reason was just to give 9S a reason to descend into madness in the end.
