why is it most games can't seem to get eyes right? Team Silent worked some black magic as best they could in 2003 on a fucking PS2. Heather was the perfect storm. I don't think anyone has made a pound for pound face of her quality, in the context of hardware limitations. Obviosly there are great faces now, but how many pf them are pushing the boat out comparitivly, like they did.

Bare in mind, Heather didn't just look that good in the real time cut scenes, she looked that good during actual gameplay, pic related.

What's the best way to play SH games now? Should I emulate the ps2 versions or just play them on pc?

The little blue/dark areas under a girls eyes like Heather's can be so attractive. I like the roots too, it shows a scruffy carelesness about parts of her appearance. But if you have a genuine interest in horror games then that's fine. The only thing I can say is just force yourself to play them. And if the game gives you a frighten, pause it. I still have to do it from time to time when playing horror games, because it doesn't take too much to do me a frighten. And if you're to play the games, I'd highly recommend playing them in the OG order of 1, 2, 3, because with each game comes great improvements, and also SH1 is super important to the story of SH3.
