It's definitely a huge fuck up and they're going to get a lot of shit at the next financial meeting if they don't act.

But I doubt they thought Switch would be as successful as it is and they've never really had to compete over parts before, not to mention their cooperation with Nvidia is new. However, they should have definitely seen some of this coming considering the Switch is basically a tablet, which is a product that is mass produced by several big companies.
