I got this and Code Name Steam for $7 each. Should I keep them

Heard good things about the second one you said.

I loved the second one, haven't played the first. If you ever played and enjoyed Valkyrie chronicles you may enjoy steam since it plays somewhat like that.

I love Valkyria Chronicles. I saw it was by the Intelligent Systems too which is a good sign if it's the Advance Wars team.

My only complaint is that it starts off rather slowly since you won't get a full team for two chapters or so. Because of that you're limited in what you can do early on. But the team members you get are pretty diverse in what they can do and can really influence how you go through a level.

Puzzle & Dragons is insane, and not necessarily in a good way. The actual P&D is pretty cliche, standard stuff, but at least it's beatable.

Super Mario edition is downright cruel. I am convinced it was not playtested with standard progression units, because things start getting real hard at world 3, and completely unfair by world 6.

I am not that anon, but I put over 100 hours into Z and tried the Mario one out first. He is absolutely right the game is insanely difficult and almost impossible to beat.
