It's a farming simulator. Grow crops and raise animals to make money, make friends with the locals, get married and start a family, do some spelunking in the mines if you want. That last part is a little more Rune Factory than Harvest Moon, but still.

No multiplayer, it's basically a farming sim. You inherit a dilapidated farm from your grandfather, and you're tasked with fixing up the place. You can build relationships with the townsfolk, and eventually get married and have a kid. Theres also a dungeon where you can fight monsters when you're not farming.

There's a meme about memes in the game, but its really only in one area, and the dialogue can be cringey at times. But the combat and exploration is satisfying as hell.

It's a first person game with a big focus on hand to hand combat, which is done really well. Very linear game but it's done right, constantly keeping you moving and having cool things happen. And a decent story that takes itself pretty seriously but has some cool moments.

It's not that anon.
Before W3 CDPR was praised as savior of gaming here and everyone who dared to pirate their games were fucking lynched. Everyone was like "buy their game, they deserve it".
But once Witcher went mainstream and W3 was casualized to sell better (they said that they couldn't fund the game if not for multiplat release) they are suddenly biggest hacks in industry and never could make any good game to begin with.
Don't get me wrong i have my complains about W3 but this is gettting ridiculous. W3 even with it's flaws, is still a solid and impressive game, at least from technical standpoint.

Yeah, the 4 tile sprinkler is kind of lame, but the 8 tile is all you truly need outside of the greenhouse. You waste some space, true, but you got enough of that, either way. (unless it is the fishing farm, I guess.)

Like Diablo 2 with a party, with better skills, lots of customisability and a solid story. Even had really good sidequests that required you to solve riddles, not just hit things.

I played it for a solid week while my brother was home from the Navy and one of my friends that moved to the other side of the country was visiting.

I gave more of a shit about playing this then hanging out with them. And then, abruptly, there was no more content and I was left realizing just how shallow the game really was.

It needs a lot more development. What's there is good, but it needs more meat. The mines suck, foraging sucks, fishing sucks, the customization isn't very good, grinding relationships with the townsfolk is fucking horrific, I could go on.

What's there is good, but it still feels like it's in beta.
