Single player is mindless violence the game. I'm not saying that as a jab, that's not a bad premise, shoot everything, don't think about it. Pretty simple, if that sounds like you're cup of tea than get it, it does it's job well.

the weapons and gore are very satisfying. You can literally rip and tear.

I played nuDoom and didnt think it was as good as wolfenstein new order. i felt like they really dumbed down doom as opposed to making it better like they did with wolfenstein. also nudoom has a hideous art style compared to old doom. Will I like it vee? Should i buy it?

If you want a shooter about fast movement and killing demons violently, you'll like it. A shooter where the enemies are actually _different_ from each other, where each weapon has a distinct purpose, and where you have to fight to survive because you can't run and hide and regenerate health after a few seconds. The soundtrack is rad too.

Takes the best parts of modern day and old school mechanics and game design and adds that doom flavor to it.

Multiplayer isn't fantastic, but its more mindless fun. Snapmap is mediocre, but the singleplayer is a breath of fresh air as far as fps games go.

My only problem is that about 40% of the upgrades are vastly underpowered compared to the alternative upgrade path.

Sorry I can't, It looks pretty and sounds good but everything about the actually gameplay and levels is a fuckup ad bares no resemblance whatsoever to classic shootan games of old anyone that says otherwise are fucking delusional.

Good gameplay brought down by a series of bad design choices, especially level design and enemies dropping mountains of health.

At this price you're going to pretty much be guaranteed to get your money's worth if you try it and like it. I bought it during the last sale and I'm having a ton of fun and I'm roughly 10 hours in right now.

not him but nightmare is stupid and badly balanced it also makes glory kills irrelevant as they are only useful when you are low on health or ammo as they give you more if you are low on either but because you want to avoid that and it's easy to do so it makes them completely irrelevant.

Lol no, making you spam E and keep your face to the ground to pick up +1armor and ammo items is a big downgrade from just walking over them, it breaks the flow and fun
