I've been playing it for the past few weeks. Everything is on-point. A few things could be polished a tiny bit more, but otherwise it is very well made.
Except for the fact that Soul Tyrant is one of the most unenjoyable damage sponge bosses I've played against in recent memory.

Damage on hit is a little old fashioned but it's a pretty great game overall.

Best game released in the last 2 years. Also best 2D game ever created.

I liked it, the whole style of the game came off as old school. The combat, the world, the controls, the story.
It's refreshing for how streamlined games are nowadays.

Absolutely hated the contact damage. I understand why it's there but throughout the game I would constantly take damaging attempting to dodge bosses because nano seconds later the boss would follow me with a jump and collide. Everything feels so damn slow but It was a very pretty game. Put 30 hours into it and will likely not revisit
