I've lost faith in their ability to balance the game. They're been moving towards complete casualisation of the few interesting things in the game. Overwatch was already a casual game with minor hints of depth, but they're just sanding those things away to appease casuals. See the Zarya ult movement nerf.

In action, he feels like a Paladins character, really low quality. I've mentioned this before, but when you play Reinhardt for example, you feel powerful. When you plow your hammer against an enemy, there's that chunky interaction where your hammer drags and you hear a satisfying crunch. Doomfist's attacks don't have that. There is no indication your rocket punch hit other than if they died or not.

This isn't to say that Doomfist isn't powerful. He just isn't interesting.

This is not about other characters being shitty and Ana being good but there was something different with Ana that we didn't have with any other released hero after the game launched.

At the start people were excited for it because of the potential - they thought it'd be used as a basis to develop a more interesting game with deeper mechanics, but now it's pretty much clear that Blizzard are fine with churning out a couple of dull heroes every now and then and some generic maps with gimmicks piled on top so that people don't forget them the moment they stop playing.
