Meddle was top notch, especially Echoes but I still felt like it didn't quite match up to the genius of DSOM, and Obscured by Clouds was a good album but didn't really stand out very well.
Animals was good, but once again just didn't compare to the genius of darkside, especially tracks like Breath, Time, Any Colour, Brian damage and Eclipse.

Culture as a whole seems to be stagnating to the point where everything feels like something I've played before
Recently I've been playing Horizon Zero Dawn which got a lot of praise but to me seemed recycled from Far Cry and Monster Hunter with a plot straight from Mass Effect
Video game development companies are very incestuous in terms of ideas it would seem; I remember Dragon Age Inquisition having the exact same plot as Elder Scrolls Oblivion
