Is he the biggest hack in vidya history?
>>384623824
That would be Kojima
>>384623824
That's not Playerunknown
>>384623824
Yes, I fucking hate Kojima, what the FUCK was he thinking when he made super mario odyssey? We have more than enough open world meme games jesus fuck
>>384623824
Didn't Inafune take that title after MN9?
>>384623824
amazing bait
>>384623882
This. While Kojimbo was wasting time and money on MGS5, Sakurai made Kid Icarus: Uprising, Super Smash Bros 4, and began work on a new project.
The only people who call Sakurai a hack are assblasted Meleebabbies and Ridleyfags.
>>384623824
Some of his decisions when it comes to Smash are questionable, but his other games are quite good.
>>384623824
>makes a series that gets better with every installment
I can't see what's hacky about that. Sure, there have been gaemplay slips like Brawl and Melee, but the core aspects have just gotten better Did your favorite character get snubbed for Bayo?
>>384623824
Not even close. I just wish he would step down from Smash and work on new projects.
Tim Schaffer, Inafune, Molyneux off the top of my head are bigger hacks.
>>384624104
Shit director, but great con artist.
>>384623824
Only if you take Super Smash Bros. far too seriously for your own good.
Maybe. At least he's not an Icon
>>384623824
No. The biggest hacks in the industry are Toddy boy, Sean Murray, Tim Schaefer, Anita, Phil Fish, and of course, Peter Molyneux. Take your pick.
>>384623824
maybe, but i still would that
Sakurai is by no means a hack. With Smash, he intended to make a party game that anyone can pick up and play. He's accomplished that goal perfectly. The only people who call him a hack are manchildren who spend their life playing a 15 year-old party game competitively.
>>384623824
No. Kojimmy is.
Him and Kojima are good friends for a reason. They're both fucking hacks.
There are no Japanese hacks
Only western devs can classify as hacks
>It's a "my favorite character didn't make it into Smash" thread
>>384623824
*blocks your path*
>>384623824
If we lived in a world where David Cage, Hideo Kojima, Yoko Taro, Tetsuya Nomura, and Motomu Toriyama didn't exist, then yes, he'd be the biggest hackjust behind Todd Howard.
