It's pretty crap proper solo queuing, but you can pick up teammates pretty quickly who do you solids in game.

CSS feels much more natural to play imo; things feel smoother in that game because you move around like you're playing HL2

As someone who played since the beta (June 2012), no. It barely gets any good updates, unless you love paying for crates and 2 sec you won't get fuck all in terms of maps, new weapons, balancing, bug fixes, etc. If you want a tacticool shooter with passion behind it and better loot system, play Rainbow 6 Siege. Way more fair and polished IMO.

Valve doesn't care unless you're playing Dota 2.

It's not a fun game to just pick up and play. In fact it is fucking horrible. Don't bother. Legit just get a call of duty or something. COD online is fun. Especially the Modern Warfare and Black Ops games.

CSGO is full of wannabe esports autists who have spent years learning the convoluted mechanics. It's not a game it's an autism test

It's not like Overwatch at all. It is extremely slow paced comparatively. If you like Overwatch, the round-based gameplay of csgo will probably put you off. Dying early in a round means potentially sitting there doing nothing for 5 minutes before you can play again.

If you want a faster paced game with less cartoony wacky characters and weapons, try Dirty Bomb.

It's very rewarding if you put the time into it. It's a game where you can see notable improvement in your play and is pretty much guaranteed to be around with this iteration or the next for the next decade. That's if you're planning to put in the time.

If you want something to just jump into for 10-100 hours, it's still pretty good. It's cheap too.
