This one does seem to be the biggest departure in mechanics from the rest of the series at least. More RPG-based leveling, weapons, loot, and an open world akin to Witcher 3.

ASSCREED but with hitboxes or some shit and with RPG elements. It's cool that theres no more minimap but It's gotten to the point that it would have to be a complete overhaul of the game for me to care anymore. Atleast they put it in a setting that people wanted, even though Feudal Japan would have been more interesting personally.

Assassins Creed gameplay is just fundamentally flawed, its nothing to do with the developer, I would just look to another series rather than home this would become a good game. Traits of AC games are
>hold button to do everything that couldve been actual platforming involving some player agency
>press X to kill
>AI thats so dull and retarded that its barely functional "this fortress is dangerous, we shouldnt get spotted" then you get spotted and can singlehandedly take out an entire army by mashing counters, getting spotted is not punished at all because its so easy to kill enemies
>climb tower for open markers on the map, X40
>a story thats going fine but shits itself the moment the Assassins and Templars are brought into it
Basically, to fix AC, it needs to stop being AC. Its a damn shame because they are set in settings that would be great for good games.
