I've argued against this with my friends so many times, they think just because it has sidequests and a form of specializing (sword, signs, alchemy) it's an rpg. You can't pick a class or completely specialize, you can't create a character, hell the Zelda games let you pick a name at least. You're a Witcher and you can only customize within that class, now if there was a Witcher, Sorcerer, etc. then I'd say it was an RPG.
