I want to listen to music on my phone while I play games on my 3ds, while still wearing headphones. Is there any way I can do so? The only female to male splitter I've found are headphones and mic. Is it possible for me to take 2 male to male plugs and then plug those into a male to female splitter?

Normally I'd do that, but I'm going on a trip with the family and can't have any sound leaking out. not only that, but I need to be able to hear both devices clearly.

why would sound leak out? closed back headphones don't leak sound unless you are blasting

exactly, but the only way for me to be able to hear out of the headphones through my earbuds would be to turn up the headphones loud enough to leak out sound. at that point the sound would be too loud and would block out the earbuds. Idk what to do about this dilemma.
