So if Payback flops will EA go back to Underground series?

I hope not because I don't want modern EA to make a shitty sequel to one of the best games in the series

They already went "back to the roots" (ie. some weird quasi-Underground title) with the reboot, if Payback fails expect them to flounder around with more shit absolutely nobody wanted to see.

The way I feel for Underground is the same way I feel about Ghost Trick. I want a NFS:Underground 3/Ghost Trick 2, but I don't want the "new" EA/Capcom to make it.

Payback won't flop becuase there's a huge gap in arcade racers on the PS4 it's all sim and NFS' fanbase is too loyal

I just hope they stick to the "dark" (dare I say "Underground") racing style. NFS:U + NFS:U2 + NFS:Carbon I'd say are the best games in the franchise.

Also The Crew 1 is the worst racing game I've ever played I've never seen so many American and modern cars in a racing game ever.

Payback will flop. Out of their cycle of installments, their "story driven" ones always flop the hardest. Need For Speed: Undercover and Need For Speed: The Run prove this.
