Probably yes. Terrible first impression, bad character design and lack of a unique personality. The character designs are a real sticking point for me, they are just so unoriginal it makes the game look less like it is from a creative passionate team and someone going mobas aesthetic is popular. It just begs the question why not play melee which has the characters you like anyway? It's only big advantage depend son online being popular.

Also after reading the AMA it sounds like a lot of the team's background is in mobas not smash. Which getting over my general disdain for mobas came across as they have fuck all idea bout it but want that esports money.

Was bought by riot, may one day reappear but seems less likely at this point. It was liked outside /v/ but very unexplored and people took it with a grain of salt cause alpha.
