Compared to games other than Morrowind and Oblivion:
>It's one of the few games almost completely without filler NPCs for neutral/friendly characters. If you want to follow a person around, you can see what they do.

I don't like the game very much because it gets stale quickly, but I can respect it for these aspects. Bethesda has so much potential that they don't capitalize on.

I play it ignoring the main quest and just exploring and leveling up. Also, i try to ignore some other quests eg if i'm playing as a companion i will ignore the thieves guild.

it's a cool exploration game. Mindless fun.

I enjoy it mostly because I can install different perk overhauls every year and get a somewhat different leveling experience. One playthrough with SPERG and slower leveling, another with Ordinator, and so on.

I don't like Skyrim, I like the mod selection, which is second to none.

Frostfall single handedly raises my enjoyment of Skyrim by a huge degree. I usually enjoy the game immensely until I run into something from the base game, like when I finish a mod quest and decide to try the main story.

It really sells the "sprinkles on a turd" analogy /v/ likes to use with mods, I enjoy the sprinkles but as soon as I hit turd I feel like uninstalling.
