I may be biased, I love SS, but a big problem is Fi. She frequently interrupts to tell you the solution to something you haven't had the chance to figure out yourself yet (if she could turned off it would be a big improvement)
The Dungeon designs are among the best (and certainly better than WW or TP)
The overworlds are a bit dungeony for some people, a lot less exploration in that game.

An annoyance can become a critical flaw if it's persistent enough. The biggest problem with Fi is that she never tones down the frequency of her interruptions, so by the end of the game she's still popping in with things that you've already figured out or are objectively not helpful. The worst example I think is how she beeps every time you get a new dowsing target, so when you get a dowsing target in the Isle of Songs she'll beep until you dowse, even though she'll only point to the exit.

Skyward Sword's dungeons were pretty great, honestly. Ancient Cistern is one of my favourite dungeons in the series. Sure, the pacing and handholding in that game is complete ass, but I never understood why it got so much hate.

I enjoyed the motion controls, although they were sometimes finicky, they were nowhere near as bad as some people seem to say it is.
The final boss of SS was also pretty fucking rad. I think it was a pretty good game. A deeply flawed one, but not "bad" at all.

People like MM because it's darker, but not as in your face "edgy" as the Star Wars prequels were. A better comparison to the Star Wars prequels is TP, which is LITERALLY dark as fuck and tries it's best to be dark, but fails to achieve this as well as MM, which was much more subtle with more mature themes.

Skyward sword was good. Great soundtrack and really used the graphics well. Personally Twilight Princess is the weakest of the console zeldas

Twilight Princess has some of the strongest dungeon design in the series, which I think elevates it past "weakest console Zelda". Snowpeak Ruins was fucking awesome.

Honestly, Wind Waker is the weakest console Zelda for me. While the package itself is super charming and aesthetically pleasing, and I loved the settings and look of the dungeons, the dungeons themselves were pitifully easy, and there weren't enough of them. It also has the weakest soundtrack imo.
