I love it, personally. The game splits the difference between the more grounded Street Fighter and the more frantic anime fighters, and it comes together very well. Each character feels very distinct from each other, with some playing like no other I've ever seen in a fighter. Online is still very much alive (the XB1/PC crossplay definitely helps), and there's still an active competitive scene, even if the game wasn't on the EVO mainstage.

The main community is small but very dedicated, so I'm sure the game will remain active for at least a little while longer.

Windows 10 is a necessary evil when it came time for XB1/PC crossplay. I will openly admit that KI was the only real reason I was willing to do the free upgrade from 8.1 to 10 that first year, and even then, it was very late in the promotion. I haven't had any problems with W10, and KI definitely made it worth it.

Too many other new games coming out to showcase. KI was one of the games competing for the ninth slot in that donation drive (Marvel won).

Kudos to Killer Instinct for being one of the only ways to get the Japanese to buy an Xbox One. There actually is a small but compelling Japanese KI scene.
