What isn't internet killing? It's the zombie apocalypse out there. Individuality is fucking dead, replaced by trends uniform across large portions of the world. Smartphones killed the internet: the majority of content is now optimized for being consumed in 5 seconds from a palm sized screen. The resulting ADHD culture of needing to be hooked up to endless streams of trash 24/7 has certainly has an adverse effect on video games.
