Yeah, that's the problem. They didn't bother trying to really improve anything (wow, the boost is powered by Wisps again instead of rings, absolutely revolutionary Iizuka!) and just went with whatever "works". People are already getting sick of the boost gameplay. Mark my words, that's going to be one of the chief complaints once it comes out.

I don't give a solitary fuck about any of those arguments. The fact is, Modern Sonic is stagnating, and Forces is where it's going to start coming to a head. I'm not going to suggest where we go from here, because that's a rabbit hole I don't feel like going down at the moment. But for anyone looking at this game even remotely objectively, you can see the writing on the wall. Some big changes are going to happen to Modern Sonic. They have to, if they want it to survive.
