Bully's mouse & keyboard controlls are god-awful, so bad that you can't even unfuck them by reassigning keys because so many actions are linked to the same key.

Easy to fix by just using a controller which works perfectly fine, but still.

Welcome to Rockstar PC ports. GTA 4 is same.I have retail disc version and it is not playable not even installable due it requires a date check in install but servers for it dead(thank you GFWL)
and they didnt patch it

I never said dead, I said dark. Look at the development studios that closed down, look at the game series that stopped or suddenly had huge gaps in releases, look at the games that should have been on PC but weren't(lots of them now have ports). As far as publishers were concerned PC gaming was a race horse with a lame leg. It was being sent to the glue factory. PC gaming was in a downward spiral that looked set to crash the whole PC industry. Digital distribution changed all that.

I actually managed to extend the between-crash sessions up to 1-2h by applying the dozen tweaks you can find online that supposedly fix the crashes. Pooled together they seem to have an effect. That way I managed to finish bully last year, but I desperately want to replay, and I cannot go through this grueling ordeal of tweaking and restarting the game constantly.
