Downhill since CGR Mk. 3 aka the Patreon era. What was a hobby became a job and his content suffered as a result. I don't get how people don't realize this. His peak was right before the times of his Patreon.

Uses to really, really love his reviews in 2010. Without a doubt probably the best reviewer on you tube. Unline AVGN was a comedian using video games as a vessel for self promotion, mark actually cared.

Then all that shit happened with youtube back in 2014 where google were taking their first steps to sanitising and corporatising the platform. Mark left, camr back and thought fuck everything. Hes like a spoony but more pleasant.

The peak was just before he leased an entire office building just for his youtube channel. A year later youtube changed their partner payouts and things got leaner and he started cross promoting various shit like his comics, merchandise and various DVDs and even multiple kickstarters. He should have stayed in the storage locker really.
