I see no problem with that in a single player game. You can just use a trainer if you wish so. Although paying for cheats doesn't make you any more of a scrub than cheating for free.

I remember the special edition or whatever had a store where you could buy super overpowered gamebreaking outfits to where. One doubled the amount of time you got to counterattack and there was basically no reason to use anything else. It wasnt even that expensive.
