It's seriously no fun going up against her.
I don't even think she's broken, just the definition of anti fun.

Except it only does 30% damage to pilots. Maybe less.
I'll admit Monarch can be a good Ronin counter. But once you know this, you can just resort to hit and run tactics, like you always should with Ronin once the going gets tough.

You have to actively change up your whole method of fighting her because if she hits you once and she's got teammates around, you're essentially scrap metal, wether they're in titans or not.

Honestly I was under the impression that Ronin countered Monarch. Maybe that's why I was feeling so shitty about not being able to fight her competently. Again, I'm probably just fucking retarded, but I got to the point where I was using the Kraber and other meme weapons and still ending up at least 3rd place, and when monarch came out I just stopped having fun.

Monarch has middeling damage, but over a long time. This really messes with Ronin, whose kit is all about unloading his weapon and ability, blocking or phasing through the high damage ability of his opponent and then unload again. With Monarch there's nothing to block. Everything is just mediocre damage that whittles you down over time and standing around blocking for 5 seconds until he emptied his gun is not really an option either, especially since that actually still deals a bit of damage through your block.
And I'm not even mentioning here that he can slow you, preventing you from getting close, that he has 1 dash and then another dash right after, staying even further away from you.
And now I will enlighten you about the meme monarch build I'm currently running. It has 2 dashes, with rearm that's another 2 dashes right after, also 2 slowing lasers in succession and my rearm has reduced cooldown. No Ronin will ever be a threat to this build. You don't even get close at any point.

I will get titanfall 3 if I can customize my only if I can mechs, usually I refuse to buy from EA

The way Titanfall 2 matchmaking works mitigates this a bit. Basically, every mode you want to play and you get thrown into whatever it manages to throw together.
This is why you actually still do get to play less played modes, just a little more infrequently than the most popular ones.

I don't understand how people can be bad at this game. Any fps for that matter. Every single game you get those cripples who don't even get 5 pilot kills. but you know what I give them a chance and think "oh maybe they got a lot of minion kills?"
