It's literally just a modchip that allows infinite game shares. You install it, run it while installed, and it does a software exploit to "unlock" game share limits. Rinse repeat on other consoles. It'll be patched out really soon and 100% get you console banned.

I mean I've done modchips myself and it's not hard. But ps1 was definitely not as pirated as other consoles. Not by a mile. Compared to og xbox, dreamcast, pretty much anything nintendo passed Gamecube. Psp, ps2 even.
