There's not a single intresting character in FE:A, holy shit that game was a slog. Every character appears nice on the surface only to reveal they have the character depth of a kiddie pool.
Anyway Artina was a mess, both as a unit and as a character. She's probably in yuris with Flonne though, I wish they'd stop trying to set her up with Val, it's just awkward.

Really and truly. Everyone is as one note as it gets, every support was really just [x]'s wacky, singular character trait clashes with another character's wacky singular character trait. It's enough to appease the target audience of casuals looking for a dating sim, but put any FE:A character under some scrutiny and you end up with nothing but a repeating trope. I.e, Gregor is silly talking foreign mercenary and not much else, Gaius is a candy bandit, oh but he's actually a nice person! Worst offender is Chrom though, holy fuck, what an uninspired, uninteresting lead. I don't even know what his character traits are supposed to be.

I felt like the Second Gen characters had more of a personality than the First Gen ones, besides Lucina, she is flat as paper both literally and personality wise. With the second Gen characters, they're already mostly friends so we don't need 'le haha this character does this xD' scene, we skip to how they act near each other. But I respect your opinion.
I feel this way about Pokémon, I like all gens but Gen.1 has the least amount of my favorites in it.
